Art-Star is my company, formed in 2011.
My name is Ruth Wigthman and I'm an artist and art teacher.
This website shows my paintings and some of the projects I've devised and facilitated in schools, museums and community settings.
My background is as a teacher in FE colleges, schools and museums and as a freelance artist. I’ve worked as an artist in residence for a number of schools.
As well as freelance work, I teach adults from my studio and teach one to one online. I am also teaching for Keighley healthy living and Glusburn art institute.
